StartUp Nijmegen is a flex workplace for (starting) entrepreneurs. StartUp Nijmegen's old website did not connect well with its young, entrepreneurial target group. The challenge was to create a new design that does appeal: playful, modern and colourful, with a look and feel that matches StartUp's energy. The final construction of the website was done by another party.
Target group analysis and design direction
For the new design, we first looked at StartUp Nijmegen's target group: young, starting entrepreneurs looking for an inspiring, accessible and energetic workplace. The existing design did not sufficiently match this visually and content-wise. From that analysis, different visual directions were explored - from sleek and minimalist to playful and expressive. The final choice was a colourful and dynamic design with round shapes and lively accents, fitting the creative and entrepreneurial atmosphere of StartUp.
