The challenge:

Berg en Dal municipality felt the need to map the social domain within the municipality and make it accessible to its residents. The desire was to create a portal where residents and (social) organisations could post and manage activities themselves.

An onboarding system and dashboard for residents and (social) organisations

To make the platform accessible and manageable, a user-friendly onboarding system has been developed. Residents and organisations can easily sign up via a registration form. During registration, they fill in a short questionnaire so that the administrator can immediately understand the purpose and nature of the registration.

Each new registration is automatically reported to the website administrator, who then reviews and approves or rejects the registration. After approval, the registrant gets access to a personal dashboard. From this dashboard, they can independently add, edit and manage activities of a social nature.

In this way, the platform remains current, dynamic and largely self-sufficient, while the municipality retains control over the quality and relevance of the content.
